After downloading, please try run to this point: 1) select site, choose post, locate tx (transmitter) and plot it on picture, locate rx and plot, then push locate rx again for 2nd receiver, then go to parameters and draw line rx (should draw a line btwn the 2 rx. click simulate and choose path loss.. this is where coding is needed. When I click on path loss I need these following things to happen in order to plot the path loss. a. the .ery file ignore first column, 2nd column is the number of receivers that we have, 3rd column has the number of rays (example 23), 4th column is the real and imaginary parts (examplot 46 values) of each ray going through each rx. Basically, if you have something like: 1 1 0 this means there are no real or imaginary parts for the rays 1 2 1 -0.000111339 5.96258e-005 this means, 2 rxs exist, 1 ray exist at that rx and the last 2 numbers are real, imaginary part of ray we need the .ery file for is to extract magnitude from each row. Magnitude = sqrt((real)^2+(imaginary)^2) example 1 1 10 (there would be 20 values in the 4th column) each pair is equal to real, imaginary part of 1 ray. I hope this make sense. So I need to calculate the magnitude of each row of numbers and take sum (that would be the value of the y-axis) example: if I take row of the above example (sqrt(-0.000111339)^2+(5.96258e-005)^2=value) then "value" would be the y-axis value at that receiver distance. Also, after drawing the line, I wonder if you could break it up into x amount of segments. Is there a way to ask the user after choosing the path loss function to see how many receivers on that line they want. save that value, and will know that is how many points need to plot. Also, would it be possible to save the bitmap for all windows as it shows up. Is there paint function to save text, picture completely? ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform vb6 with comments
