This is a program that should not be more that 200k.
It is a simple app switcher for use on Intel only Mac OS X 10.6 and higher(not universal). It should use Cocoa and the recommended programming languagefor Intel Mac OS X 10.6.
When it runs its icon does not appear in the dock.
There is one options screen. It appears if the user clicks on the app's icon after it is already running.
When run the user has the ability to switch applications by hitting a user defined hotkey combo.
This hotkey combo is set in the options of the application. The user can select one to four checkboxes( Command, Option, Control, Shift) and a key-press text box. Example: If the user checks the Command, Shift, and Control checkboxes and has a key-press of the letter S, when the user is in any application and hits CMD-Shift-Opt-S at the same time, this application switcher will popup on the screen.
What pops up *around the pointer* are the icons of all the running applications that appear in the dock(if they don't appear in the dock then they should not appear.) The user then mouses over to the icon they want to switch to and it switches to that application.
The user will have two options for this switching behavior:
1. ***Hold*** keycombo and then mouse-over to application icon and release keycombo
or
2. ***One-click*** keycombo to show running icons and mouse-over icon and click
The user will also have an option for icon size to use. Either 64x64 or 128x128
The user will have the option to chose how the icons are arranged:
1. in a Circle around the pointer
2. In gridlike lines list around the pointer
The option page will have three buttons: 1. Quit(quits application) 2. Close (applies changes and closes options screen) 3. Cancel(cancels changes and close options screen)
I will supply application icon
