Programming & Hardware prototyping of a 8 Channels Industrial Supervision Unit
In need of electronic engineering help to make a small Industrial Supervision Unit (ISU)
The job is:
a) To make a simple ISU based on a processor circuitry, including prototype and full documentation.
b) Providing detailed schematics (in Altium (Protel) format) and a full Bill of Material including a minimum of 2 true suppliers.
c) Make the program for the processor software to operate the ISU with the functions as described in the attached paper. Functional changes and suggestions are welcome, but must be accepted in writing by us, before implementation.
d) The source code and documentation, with detailed annotation in English, are to be supplied as part of the job. After full payment the IP belongs to us.
e) To provide a written description of the setup, operation and maintenance of the ISU.
f) To make a functional hardware proto-type with PCB layout (in Altium (Protel)). PCB size and location of key components will be provided.
g) Low power consumption of the ISU is required due to operation in Battery mode.
h) Make a small PC program for external communication with the ISU. An installation disk/file of this program is to be provided as part of the job.
i) To design and implement communication to the ISU via USB, LAN (hardwire and WiFi) directly and via integrated web based platform. The setup is to be performed via front keys and via the web interface. Result output (Logs and status) to be accessible via the USB, LAN and directly via the Web interface.
j) Budget: The ISU’s component cost must be kept as low as possible. Simple solutions and low price components are preferred over complex solutions or expensive components where this can be done without compromising the quality and reliability.
k) Providing options to the requested functions, if this can improve operation, lower production cost and/or improve quality.
All communication and documentation are to be in English.
The document describing the requirement for the ISU is to be followed. If any inconsistencies or conflicts are identified these must be brought forward as well as any and all suggestions for improvement are welcome.
