Hi, what you need is a small custom plugin written that you install in your wordpress. This way, when the wp or theme updates the new feature still works, also its neater that way (less mess). I have written a few plugins that work with themes, and either it can add content to the page with a hook, or an overlay; or if the theme really has bad coding - a shortcode. This is something that would not take that long to do, once all the details were understood.
