Revisions/Upgrades to Website - Stage 1 We are seeking the services of a web developer/programmer to make a series of revisions, edits upgrades to our website on both the frontend as well as the backend (admin side). These revisions or edits are mostly graphic in nature and should take NO MORE than 15-20 hours at most to fix and possibly less and our budget for this stage is $300 - $600. Milestones: 25% on the awarding of project to successful bidder, 50% when the changes/edits have been made and the final 25% when ALL changes have been successfully implemented, reviewed and fully operational. Project Description/Scope: List below is a description of the project scope on both the FRONT END and the BACK END (Admin). Please read our requirements carefully so that you have a good understanding of what needs to be completed. FRONT END: 1) ADD: The current [login to view URL] site does not have adequate links to social media i.e. Twitter, Pintrest on our site and job postings. We require additional Social Media icons/links on job postings so that jobseekers can "Share" our postings with their followers 2) ADD: Corporate banners/logos added to a number of key locations on the site including the "login" slide down on the homepage; 3) REVISE: Header image, graphics and text were never done properly and will need to be revised so it is displayed properly; 4) REVISE: There is an option on homepage to filter jobs by “Location”, “Distance” and “Time Posted”. These are not being displayed properly and will need to be revised i.e. text fields are different sizes and not aligned properly; 5) REVISE: sidebar layout on homepage (changes are on PSD’s); 6) The following paragraph added to the bottom of job postings: * Please reference [login to view URL] in your correspondence/application to this posting! 7) DELETE: “Total Jobs:” that is displayed at the bottom of the job listings on the homepage; 8) Other small revisions/changes as required/needed BACK END/ADMIN: There is an option in the “Admin” section that allows us to post jobs for our clients for a fee. We need the following changes made to this section: a) ADD: a “Search” field that allows us to quickly locate and display any job(s) on the site so that they can be viewed edited or deleted; b) ADD: a “Refresh” button on the job posting template that allows us to refresh ANY job on the site. When a job is “refreshed”, it will add the current date to the job posting and then be displayed as the most recently added job at the top of the home page; c) ADD: a Google map to each job posting to reflect the location of the job; d) ADD: We need the ability to upgrade our clients/customers with “Featured/Premium” jobs that remain at the top of our listings on the homepage for a selected period of time for an additional fee. This would simply be a checkbox added to the job posting template that when checked, would display that job at the top of the page with a different background colour than the rest of the jobs listed below it on the homepage. e) REVISE: Admin header needs to be changed to include a graphic/image as well as our Xtrades and Worksite logos; f) ADD: We want the ability in the admin to add/display a background advertisement on the “White” areas of the homepage for premium clients. example: [login to view URL] ; g) REVISE: pagination text links/buttons; h) REPLACE: menu title “Job Type” with “Company”; i) ADD: additional text editor added; j) ADD: automated emails when a job is posted or employer sign-up. k) REVISE: we need to make revisions to the fee structure of PayPal. l) REVISE: expired job postings are not being archived; m) REVISE: illegal characters are appearing throughout the [login to view URL] site wherever there is a comma, space etc. and needs to be corrected. * Most of the edits/revisions listed above have already been designed on PSD’s to show the intended result.
