I need a simple Linux Kernel driver for testing a PCIe board I am developing. The driver needs to do the following: 1. Allocate a buffer in memory for the card to write data to using pci_alloc_consistent etc... 2. Fill the buffer with 0x0 3. Report the physical (bus) address of the buffer 4. Include a call to dump the contents of the buffer to the screen 5. The user app just needs to print the physical address on the screen and execute the dump buffer call when commanded. This is not a driver for the card itself, just a method to allocate a buffer, get the physical address of the buffer and read the buffer.

I am looking for information describing the interface used between a Broadcom main processor and the Broadcom WiFi chip for a specific circuit board. The exact chipset in this picture is not clear, but I am looking to understand the current general design. The main processor is silver and one WiFi chip is black. Most Broadcom documents show a PCIe interface for WiFi chips, but this is clearly not PCIe between the chips. The picture shows three lines on the top surface? What are these lines? Are they they half differential lines, where the second half is below? The bottom layer doesn't show equivalent lines.
